Job Site Rules & Non-Work Holidays List (2026)

Are you a contractor or owner working on construction or landscape projects in Princeville at Hanalei? Please note that the Princeville at Hanalei community has specific rules that all property owners and trade personnel should follow. Work is also restricted to specific hours and days. The Association appreciates adherence to the following job site rules and day/time restrictions:
Work Hours:
Monday to Friday—7 AM to 6 PM
Saturday—9 AM to 5 PM
Sundays and PHCA holidays—No construction, landscaping, or yard maintenance
All other State/Federal holidays—9 AM to 5 PM
2026 PHCA Non-Work Holidays:
New Year’s Day—January 1st
Memorial Day—May 25th
King Kamehameha Day—June 11th
Independence Day—July 4th
Labor Day—September 7th
Thanksgiving Day—November 26th
Christmas Day—December 25th
Job Site Rules:
No Loud music on any job site.
Do not park on the roadway.
All vehicles should be parked on the job site. If this is not possible, then vehicles may be parked on the road shoulder fronting the job site.
All equipment, material, dirt piles, and debris to be kept on the owner’s property.
Parking on a vacant lot is not allowed without prior written consent from the Owner of the Lot.
Parking without approval is trespassing, and any damage to the lot is destruction of private property.
Contact the CDC Liaison (cdc@pcaonline.org) for help obtaining written permission from the owner of a vacant lot.
Dust and mud to be confined to the owner’s property. Washing down of the road is required if mud is tracked onto the road. Nearby drainage inlets must be protected, and no chemicals, debris, grass clippings, etc., shall be flushed into the drain.
No yard or construction debris is to be dumped anywhere in Princeville.
All pets are to be on a leash at all times. County of Kauai Stray Animal Ordinance Code, Section 22-2.
Owner is responsible for ensuring all work is done according to the Princeville at Hanalei CDC Rules and Covenants.
