Notice to Timeshare Owners – PHCA Voting Rights
Meeting: PHCA Annual Meeting – October 24, 2026
Who this applies to: Owners of timeshare interests in properties located within the Princeville at Hanalei Community Association (PHCA).
Timeshare interval owners are PHCA members and may have the right to vote in PHCA elections. Depending on your resort’s governing documents, votes may be cast directly by individual owners or by your resort association/its appointed agent on your behalf.
You have 2 options depending on your Timeshare governing documents:
A) Direct Owner BallotIf you wish to receive and cast your own PHCA ballot, email meriah@pcaonline.org with subject “Timeshare Owner – Request Direct PHCA Ballot.” Please include the following information as it appears on your Ownership Record:
Your name
Resort/association name (e.g., Hanalei Bay Resort, Ka’Eo Kai)
Unit/interval (week) information
Mailing address and preferred email
B) Delegated Voting via ResortSome resorts designate their association/plan manager to vote in PHCA matters for timeshare owners. If this is the case for your resort, no action is needed.
If you are unsure how your resort handles PHCA voting, contact your resort owner association for details.
Timing
To ensure you can participate, please submit requests or questions no later than October 17th so ballots and records can be prepared in time for the meeting and tabulation.
Notes
Voting rights and methods remain subject to the governing documents of your resort and PHCA.
If your resort votes as an agent on behalf of owners and you prefer to vote directly, contact both PHCA and your resort association for the appropriate steps.
